Default The beauty of Nature

Just some curiosity questions.
Does Montana get much in the way of electrical storms? I love thunder and lightning. I could sit and watch that stuff for hours. Is there a certain time of year that there are more storms, than other times?
Can the Northern lights be seen at all?
Is there any spectacular things to see living kind of rural, that might not be seen living close to the city.
I know that I will actually be able to see stars at night. Where I live now, you don't see much in the way of stars, because it is so washed out by city lights and smog

It's kind of weird, that I get excited about relocating there, and also at the same time, when I view pics of the different areas, I actually get relaxed...just kind of pretending I am already there.

Oh, yea, we get lightening storms, really cool. We have a very clear view of the night sky, it's pitch black here. We're between Whitehall and Butte.
