Default Doolittle Creek
does anyone know who Doolittle Creek was named after? It is a small creek just north of Wisdom. I had a g-grandfather who use to be a trapper in that area and his last name was Doolittle.

I did a quick search and this is what I found.

Doolittle Creek (Beaverhead) - named for an early settler (Anaconda Standard, February 20, 1916)

So, it might well have been an ancestor.
