That's pretty much the extreme though. West Y is often the coldest temp in the country but we were at -8 this morning so you see there is quite a difference depending on where you're located. The good news is the wind has supsided and it is clear as a bell with gorgeous blue skies and no clouds! We are presently at +18.

"SUNNY" california nights 20 F. daytime high 39 F. But it's a wet cold and colder with wind. California is not ALWAYS hot in the SanFransisco Bay area.
Frosty the snowman is doing his January visit. Granted, it is never (-) degrees here but Hamilton's 19'F with snow coming down is warmer than 30'F and no snow here. Been there.
Can't wait for milder summers either. Keep warm everyone.

Even been cold here, by So Cal standards. I think it was 29 last night, and is supposed to be that cold plus 40 MPH winds on top of that tonight.
I love when the air is cold, and the sun is warm...man that just feels good to me. can't wait to get there.

Pikers... I remember the winter of '69, here I was walking a mile to school at 5am and it's -72F (new record at the time). High for the day was something like -60F. This was in Great Falls!
(And no, it wasn't uphill both ways, but it was through the snow
