work assignment
i got a job offer in butte montana and i am basically new here, as in new in the country, been here for 7mos now and i'm in the east side.. i read some very good things about butte and i am wondering if anyone can help me find a place (rental).. i am thinking of bringing my family with me later and i have two kids.. thanks in advance!!!

My advice would also be to read through as many of the posts here as you can. With about 14 pages of info, it will keep you busy a while...it did me

thanks! is it always cold, cold in butte? it seems like i need to make additional shopping for winter clothes... i am still adjusting to the weather here in east coast...

Butte it's always colder on that side of the divide, that's one reason I live on the east side. Clothing, it's all about layering.

I haven't seem many, but there should be, because they were here working in the mines with everyone else. In the visitors center, there are all these posters from 50 to 75 year or more ago of the miners. There is a great on of an Asian doctor walking through the snow with his bag. Butte has a lot of different cultures represented there, you can see it in uptown, I think there's an Asian section. We're in the Irish section mostly, DD takes Irish step dancing.
