My husband and I will be graduating chiropractic school and considering a move to montana after graduation. We were wondering where we should consider. We were thinking either great falls, missoula or billings.

Depends on how many need witchdoctors!!
Just kidding.. I threw 2 disks on top of a broken tailbone and extreme bruising due to a stubborn horse a few years back and my Chiropractor did more for me than the hospital. No pills either! (I hate taking pills.) Good luck to you, but I'll never go to a different one as long as mine is still in town! |

I would get on some on line yellow pages or look at the chamber websites and try and find out where your competion is less per capita. You may have other reasons for picking one over the other two, they're so different.

Please, move close to me. VA says I need a bone breaker but they won't recognize one. So please, move close and I'll be your best customer. haha

Hey ElkHunter Maybe the V.A. wants you to go to a chiropractor or maybe even an acupuncture clinic because they don't cover those ?!! If you are going for treatments than they wont pay for that's less bills they do have to pay for . Ya think ??? ![]() |

They keep doing/paying for me now, you'd think they would recognize a Chiropractor just so they could get rid of me. haha

Elkhunter, have you considered going to a different VA? Apparantly some of the VAs provide chiropratic care.
VA to Begin Chiropractic Care June 25, 2004 WASHINGTON – Veterans can receive chiropractic care at 26 selected Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) facilities beginning this fall, Secretary of Veterans Affairs Anthony J. Principi announced today. VA will hire or contract with doctors of chiropractic to provide the care. In consultation with VA primary care providers, doctors of chiropractic will offer patient evaluations and chiropractic care for neuromusculoskeletal conditions. “Today, VA makes another significant improvement to the world-class health care we provide for eligible veterans,” said Principi. “Veterans who will benefit from chiropractic services will now have the opportunity to receive chiropractic care to restore them to good health.” Locations where chiropractic care will be provided include Togus, Maine; West Haven/Newington, Conn.; Buffalo and the Bronx, N.Y.; Butler, Pa.; Martinsburg, W.Va.; Salisbury, N.C.; Augusta, Ga.; Tampa and Miami, Fla.; Mountain Home, Tenn.; Columbus, Ohio; Danville, Ill.; Iron Mountain, Mich.; Kansas City, Mo.; Jackson, Miss.; San Antonio, Temple and Dallas, Texas; Albuquerque, N.M.; Phoenix, Ariz.; Fort Harrison, Mont.; Seattle, Wash.; Martinez and Los Angeles, Calif.; and Sioux Falls, S.D. Eligible veterans in areas distant from these locations will also be able to receive chiropractic care through VA’s outpatient fee-basis program after a referral by their primary care provider, and prior authorization by the department. VA was authorized to offer chiropractic care and services under the provisions of section 204 of Public Law 107-135, the Department of Veterans Affairs Health Care Programs Enhancement Act of 2001. Chiropractors seeking employment or to provide contract services to veterans should call the Human Resources office of any of the above facilities. Some VA positions may be advertised at http://www.vacareers.com. |
