The apartments are nice and in a good neighborhood, very close to biggest area of shopping in town. You will be close to the mall, all the big box stores, lots of food places, and the new Kohl's store & whatever smaller stores come with it just around the corner from you. So, depending on what type of job you are looking for, you shouldn't have any problems finding a job!

If you can get a place there for 440/month, I'd say that is very cheap indeed. Go for it!
The retail development in that area should explode in the next few years, so expect increased traffic to deal with, but the area is safe, and I see no reason for that to change.

My son and daughter in law lived in those apartments when they were first married. They seem to be quite nice, and the area is as safe as any in Billings, maybe safer.
Shiloh Road is going to be under construction for a few years, so there may be some problems getting through there. King Avenue West is also undergoing rebuilding, but I think it is pretty much done in the area of Olympic. There is a new "roundabout" on King. I haven't been through there since it was built.
As for jobs, there are a lot of jobs available, it depends on what you want. Fast food jobs seem to be starting at about $8 per hour. There are "NOW HIRING" signs up at many of the retail stores in town, as well as many of the restaurants. The medical establishment is always hiring (RNs, LPNs, CNAs, etc.) There are places in town that will train those interested in becoming CNAs.
Good luck.
