I assume what you are referring to is the CBOC run by the VA Health Care System?

Jolly, be aware of the two VA's. The Montana VA and The Federal VA. Ft. Harrison is Federal and Kalispell has a Montana VA Office. Here is a link for the Montana VA Offices. Go to your Service Officer in Kalispell, the State VA is a better advocate for Veterans than the Federal level. They will ensure that you receive all the care you need. As is with all claims, you'll have to get a C&P exam. If you don't have a copy of your medical records the Montana VA can help you get a copy. Once you have all of that taken care of, if the Clinic in Kalispell can't help you, you can go to the VA Hospital at Fort Harrison and you will receive travel pay to get there if you can't use the DAV Van. I've had the State VA help me out ever since my return to civilian life and they are great. The state is working hard to get VA clinics into every major city and town in Montana. You're one of the lucky ones in Kalispell,....Havre is still waiting on theirs.

THANKS Jet! Didn't realize the state was involved in Vet care ... I'm already rated 100% and currently use the Minneapolis VA (federal); I just want to know how the MT VA service is before I move.
THANKS again, you've been most helpful!!!
