..........This year MacIntosh Apple Day (tomorrow) will really separate the "wheat from the chaff". Mother nature is "throwin' a low blow".
Temp tonight is forecast to be about 4F above in Hamilton-- high tomorrow maybe up to about 25, with a wind chill of around 5 above. (maybe colder in some areas); there is approx 3 to 4 " of snow on the ground now--maybe more to come tomorrow. Definitely a "bad scene for "Apple Day".
The radio this morning said they have 800 Mac apple pies baked and ready to sell; about 90+ booths (merchants) that sell everything from "all kinds of food to hand-crafted toilet seats (really nice looking, made out of hand carved oak).
All this takes place on about 3 streets that boarder the court house and the muesem.
Too bad the conditions won't be very acceptable this year.
......To rickers: yes, they still are using that weird lookin' apple cider makin' machine. All "man-power" and it sure does make some good cider.
