Default Music teaching position?

Howdy there,
I am looking to relocate to Montana or Wyoming. I have 12 years teaching experience (certified) in music (strings/orchestra). Does anyone know of any openings for the upcoming school year?
I want to move my wife and mother out (kids out of the house).
Looking to downsize stress. I am originally a "Dakota" boy.
I am hoping to find a rural or small town setting with conservative values.
I have been in Georgia for 6 years - absolutely horrible place!
ANY help of info will be most appreciated!
Kind regards,

Take a look at teaching salaries in Montana first and be sure you can afford to live on what teachers earn here in Montana.

New teachers usually start at about 20k-25k a year and the average of all teachers is 38k a year.

Not trying to discourage you, but want to give you some realistic dollars to look at.

Good luck!

Try Plentywood. I haven't heard if they've hired anyone to replace the band director who had been there for 30+ years. The high school has about 125 students 9 to 12.

It is true that pay in Montana for teachers is very low. I doubled my take home pay when I moved back to Wyoming. I will let you know if I see any Wyoming openings! Best wishes!
