Be careful what you wish for. As you know a monster storm could happen without notice.

I want the sky to dump its guts out and snow to pile up in six foot high drifts.
Then get nice and sunny for a few weeks ! I'm seeing lots of waterfowl in V formation heading south so winter can't be too far off. Heck winter isn't even officially here yet and I'm planning river trips for floating season already.

We've been shorted down here in SoCal too... just two nights below freezing so far. Normally by now we've had a bit and gonna get more.

Maybe we shared it with someone back east, and they didn't give it back.

I rode my bicycle around town today, no snow yet. I did wear real shoes and a jacket though.

Well I found our snow! It's piled up on the deck and blowing all over the place right now! Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr, I've got to go fire up the blower in a few so the wife can get to work.
Looks like the maybe blizzard is here!

Anyone else notice a greater migration of Canada geese this year? I started seeing a lot of southbound Vs starting in late October and continuing into November. Many more than usual. We always have quite a few lay over here to partake of the leftovers from harvest, but few have stayed this year.
