Default Carbon County Attorney

Did anyone here about this? The carbon county attorney was indicted today on cocaine charges. Just wanted to get anyone’s thoughts on this. I grew up in carbon county... small county largest town is Red Lodge.

How does a public official of that status convict DUI offenders, MIP offenders, and even other drug offenders if he himself is doing such things?

Then he announced the other day he was going to take a leave of absence... well of course, I heard he didn't want to but the commisioners recommended he did. Makes me wonder what he was thinking.

Thoughts?

That's too bad to hear. Carbon county doesn't need people like that running the town.

Not surprising really, heck they just busted the govenor of IL trying to sell Obama's senate seat.
People in power tend to get corrupted, sometimes easier than civilian people because I think they think no one will know or be able to catch them since they're friends with the ones who'd be doing the investigation. As for the coke part, I've known a few high powered people who were using and just figured they were strong enough (or arrogant enough) to control it instead of the other way around and got in too deep.
