Default Rt 191 between Bozeman and West Yellowstone in the winter

Is this road usually drivable for a non-4WD vehicle? I know that I can easily make it to Big Sky; I've done Bozeman to Big Sky several times. But not sure about Big Sky to West Yellowstone. Am also travelling Rt 20 between West Yellowstone and Island Park, Idaho - is that any better or worse? Thanks in advance!
