Default Too close to home

This just comes too close to home. We have two properties and we go back and forth tending our rentals, one of our properties is in Hot Springs on the Flathead Rez. Two of our neighbors from the Hot springs area took a trip to Arizona for a couple of weeks and while they were there, I guess they went to an all night party drinking and doing who knows what else. The details are still being sorted out but one of the two was murdered along with someone else at the party. The murdered girl from our valley was well liked, she is Mary Raver. The other girl from our valley co owns Wild Horse Hot Springs (a tacky little resort) in the Little Bitterroot Valley along with her father Buzz Seeley a former Rodeo grand champion. That girl may not be coming back to Montana as soon as she would like because she wigged out when the police showed up and she is in a mental hospital now. This crap happened in Arizona but it is just too close to home. I know one of the girls and my wife knew both quite well. There are some folks in Hot Springs who want to "spring her" from the so called loony bin and bring here back.
This just comes too close to home for my liking. I hope a mod doesn't move this post to some other forum as it involves Montana folks even though it happened in Scaryzona. Below is a link to a news story about the incident.

It happened at Cave creek, lots of murders there lately I guess. I was also told they locked down the schools in Scottsdale because of this incident, and the woman who reported it is not in the loony bin it turns out. She is in protective custody. I think the sheriff who is keeping her is the chain-gang sheriff you see on TV once in a while. I guess that's why I call Arizona "Scaryzona"

That would be Sheriff Joe Arpiao, arguably the best Sheriff AZ has ever seen. It's sad that we had to lose one of our citizens to something like that. It goes to show lifes short, you just never know...

Default Update

Here is an update. It goes into a bit more of the sordid details and Jamie's side of the story. I think there is a lot more to this incident than is being told.

Thanks Kelly, She is back in Hot Springs now and she brought Max's Jeep back. I heard that she is still crying and breaking down several times a day. She will buck up or fall apart who knows ? We will say hi to Buzz, Shara and Justin when we go back to H.S. in a month or two. We are wintering in warm and sunny Conrad and will return to our summer camp after ice out.
