Unhappy I need a good Dentist in the Missoula or Lolo area. In pain.

It's looking like I will have to get a tooth pulled and don't know who to see.
I need to find someone who is gentle and kind, as I have pretty bad anxiety in the dentist chair. My experiences before haven't been so great, which is why I put off having this tooth taken care of So now I'm in bad shape.

Anyone know of a dentist?

Thank you

Dr Ike Heaphy is the absolute best. But he may refer you to a specialist and I'd recommend Dr. Morris for the actual pulling.

I am back to square one and I need help!

The dental clinic that Ike Heaphy wants to refer me to will not extract the tooth unless they sedate me. They claim that this is mandatory policy and they only work on patients when they are sedated.

I'm from *alot* of places, and I've have had wisdom teeth and an extremely difficult molar pulled with nothing but a local. I've never heard of a dentist who performs extractions only on sedated patients.

I refuse to pay out $307 for sedation, on top of the $378 they want just to remove one silly tooth. They said it would be not be a difficult extraction, but they just won't work on me unless I agree to be sedated.

This is ridiculous I've been in pain for 2 weeks now.... not having one clue about who to go to now. I phoned Partnership dental clinic (where I seriously do *not* want to go) and they told me they don't sedate patients.

Trust me Heart. They 'sedate' you with a little bit of stuff that makes you very sleepy. It doesn't hurt and I'll bet you will not be able to count to more than 5 out of 10!!

It's better for you and the dentist; it is not habit forming; and you wake up clear and fresh.

I had this done for an implant about 4 years ago. Get it done. See if you can do a payment plan. Why linger in pain for a "silly" superstition?

I support Partnership in Health Care with donations occasionally, but wouldn't be caught dead going there.
