I don't know! I have never had to use it, if it exists. You might try looking in the Yellow pages for Greyhound or Trailways or Powder River Transportation or Bus Service.
I'm not even sure if there is any air service between the two cities at the moment.

Neither Greyhound or Trailways (Rimrock) goes between GF & Billings. You'd have to go to Butte on one bus line, then switch to another to Billings. It's a way long, out of the way, trip! I wasn't able to get the Powder River lines website to work, sorry. When Big Sky Airlines was running there was a flight between Billings & GF. Now you can go from GF to Billings via a stop in Helena, but it is very expensive and again, quite a round about way to get there. In any case, if there is a will there's a way, but just not easy! Sorry there isn't more help out there for you!

Why not go and get a drivers licence, then rent a car ? It seems as though that would be easiest in the long run.

Are you in college or near one? Maybe you could post a note in the library for a share ride. Of course be careful! Good Luck!

I would take the bus. The other option is to find a share ride. Check to see if there is a bulletin board at the post office and the library. Put an ad in the free newspaper. Check at churches to see if you can post a request in the bulletins. Most important--BE CAREFUL!!

rubydi, being in Bothell, Washington, I bet you would take the bus just about anywhere you want to go. However, the trip under discussion here is from Great Falls, MONTANA, to Billings, MONTANA.
There is no bus service between the two cities.
At the present time, there is no air service, except for charter aircraft.
There is no train service.
A two hundred forty mile taxi ride would be hideously expensive.

Well, there used to be a bus from Great Falls to Billings. Not that you care, but my mom lives in GF and my sisters live in Billings. I graduated in Harlowton and lived in Great Falls twice. so my other suggestion was to find a ride share. I am sure my mom would be happy to have a rider when she travels to Billings.

Guess you will have to fly by the friendly skies. Either that hitch a ride with a truck driver. The only thing I can think of is, If you can get to Helena there are buses that run to Butte, than you could catch a bus to Billings going east. Good Luck
