Question Is plains, well, plain?

Is this a desirable location for living and working? Compared to Sarasota, Fla. that is? I have a phone interview on a job there this week...can y'all help this Southern gal? Thanks.

You can not compare a city in Florida of about 52,715 people to a small town of about 1239 people in Montana. But if you like just go to the main City-Data Homepage and navigate your way to the two and compare away. You could set your browser to display both pages side by side for an easy comparison of the demographics. City-Data has photos of most of the towns and cities listed also. I took the two pictures below. The first picture is of the Rocky Point oxbow area on the Clark Fork near Paradise and the second one is of the Lower Flathead between Perma and the confluence with the Clark Fork.

Default Opulence vs silence

Of course. I guess I am not after a comparison, but a contrast. You are right. Words can mislead for sure. I guess what I am looking for are photos, which you gave me. Thank you again.
