Default Feedback on Stevensville

Hi Guys...and gals Remember me? I've been absent for a while and am looking at a possible change in scenery. I sold my lovely little piece of land and home over in the Jefferson Valley (last Sept) in hopes of moving to Oregon and doing a small agricultural business but I've had a series of things get in my way. For starts I can't find the kind of land I want or need but the most important problem is the climate on my cruddy joints. I had a total knee replacement (will be 2 yrs this April) and my knees especially, not to mention a bunch of other body parts, are hating this damp climate over here.

I am seriously considering returning to my beloved Montana but this time I'm looking at a little farther west and closer to more cultural significance than before. I was about an hour drive to Bozeman before which was ok but I was a good 60 miles round trip to the grocery store for major shopping. I don't want to put myself in that position again of having to do so much driving for provisions.

I love fly fishing and am self employed and work from home. I want to own a bit of land (don't need much) where I can again have my chooks, a big garden and be near fishing. I am thinking Stevensville could be a good choice, but how about some feedback from people in the know? Anything would be much appreciated.
cheers...
