How absolutely awful that the Yellowstone lake was poisoned :-(
It was the Yellowstone River, not the Lake which is upstream! The river moves so fast there that the pollution was probably disapated rather efficiently and the problem no longer exists.

Two other newspapers might help you - the Billings Gazette and the Park County News if it is still in business.

I've been in touch with Livingston Enterprise newspaper and they have been very helpful
They've also advised me to try and contact a Kenneth Paolini who was once an active member of CUT, and is now very anti this sect. I've done a stack of reading up on him but haven't found any contact details yet.

Livingston Enterprise newspaper unfortunately don't have an archive, so I will go through the newspaper links you've sent me and see what I can find.

At least now I know why a whole bunch of people living near me in South Africa suddenly upped and left to Montana all those years ago....they thought the world was coming to an end, and this ranch and its bunkers would save them

Thanks for the links Grizzman
