If we need to discount the fast food places then I guess China Buffet on Brooks or Cracker Barrel at Grant Creek are fairly cheap.

Romeo's on SW Higgins is a reasonable Italian eatery.
One-plate meals in the Bar at Shadow's Keep on Whittaker are our favorite and half the price of the dining room.
Montana Jack's on South Avenue is good for breakfast and inexpensive.

Rickers, I am shocked at that racial statement about crab legs, why if they don't serve crab legs than why they don't deserve your business..
Sorry it was a tuff week at work and the forum seems to be a little trolly this week. I will check them out of I am ever on the missoli side of the state, would die for a little Gen Tao

I will eat at china Buffet any day or time, Chinese is my favorite food next to Mexican and seafood. My mother grew up in china and cooked Asian dishes once in a while when she wasn't working. She was born in Korea but lived in Calcutta and Beijing until she was 18. Mostly in beijing where she picked up recipes from her parents who were missionaries there. I get my fondness of Mexican food from growing up on the southern border.

Do you know what region the buffet serves? Schezuan, Hunan? The mouth waters for special chow mein.

A bit of everything. I like the egg-rolls, the egg foo yung, the fried rice and especially the lo mein. I fill up the plate then I go to the Schezuan beef tray and scoop some of the onions, peppers and lots of the juice on my rice and lo mein. I also go for a few few chicken wings. They also have salmon and sometimes fried small fillets of some other white meat fish. They also have pizza and deserts etc.
I have to start dieting now and I'm not sure if China Buffett is on my agenda anymore, too salty.
