Well, consider that many of the newer transplants ALSO have no idea what living in Montana is like...

My doctor has ordered me to stay away from trouble ! It's the old blood pressure ya know! I'll go to the health and wellness or the food boards now. !

That's a sure fire way to break away from that diet ! Aaah, what the hell... you can always start the diet over again... tomorrow !

I've been good so far, living on salad and cheerios. I'll break down in a few days and sneak out for a huge steak, my wife doesn't have to know !

After 3 heart attacks I've given up on the whole special diet thing. I asked my doc after the first one what I could've done to prevent it and his response was "nothing". He said "while your smoking isn't a good thing and you weren't really eating in the best way all it did was make it happen at 45 instead of 65 but understand no matter what you did it was going to happen, it's called genetics".
I had lost about 90 lbs and seriously curbed my bad eating and STILL had 2 more. I'm not saying to eat,drink and be merry without any restrictions but I firmly believe you can eat what you want as long as it's in moderation. I've also found once you have high blood pressure you're pretty much stuck with it. Even after losing 90 lbs and now being trim I have to stay on blood pressure meds.
So now in protest I'm wide awake and have had a pork butt and tri tip on the smoker since 4am!

Well, just pulled the tri tip and OMG is it tender! Put on some potatoes to smoke which I'll make potatoe salad out of, yum! |
