Hellooooo porch members! Did anyone else get the big blow we got today? I lost power for 9 hours and lost several large trees... Had to call my neighbor over with his tractor to knock down one that was about to fall on my house! Winds of around 50 mph all day and it's still a-blowin..

2 trees fell at the neighbors up the street and hit his house, wires down up and down hwy 206 and a couple fires that badrock fire had a heck of a time puttin out...
Hope this ends tonight!
Time for a drink!

That's what so infuriating - two of them are absolutely phenomenal hunters, one's just good. But obviously they seem to think that if it's in the house, it's "mine". (Still the just good hunter has other tricks. He's learned to open cupboards and drawers in his spare time. )

Let's see... it was Jimj who was doing the two-step with peacocks the other morning wasn't it?

So if we could get Rez going with a mouse accompanied fandango...

Then.... What. Do. We. Do. With. Rickers?!!

'Scuse me while I pick myself up - laughing so hard I fell of the porch there.

I'm coming over to your porch then since mine is covered with over a foot of that fluffy stuff....! Let's see... roads are closed now so I'll have to break out the sleigh! Coffee on yet?

Thumbs down Not been well.

I'm here lurking, alive but not well. I allowed myself to to get the worst case of gout I've ever had. I don't have my crutches over here in Conrad so I'm literally crawling to get to the toilet. Our town is completely snowed in and pretty much everything is shut down. My wife has shoveled us out but we can't go anywhere ! I'll get over it and I will be "right as rain" soon. At least my gout isn't as bad as being covered with poison Ivy, I'm trying to look on the bright side. Thank God for my wife or I would be seriously up chit creek without a paddle if it wasn't for her. At least I'm not passing any kidney stones this time (darn that pesky uric acid build up) I passed a kidney stone (a jack stone) about ten years back that measured 6.5mm x 8.5mm x 10.5mm. Ouch ! When my doctor looked at it, he joked that I must be a bigger "Norwegian" than him !

Snakker du norsk?!

Sorry for your troubles Rickers - we'll pull up a footstool for you and move the port out of reach.

Default Slowly getting better !

What ? No IV tube from a hanging bottle of tequila ? Tequila can be bad bad bad, I seem to come down with a touch of gout every time I drink that stuff.
My wife finally shoveled enough snow to clear a patch for our doggy to do her business. Our town is still completely snowed in and the towns near us are also isolated with all the highways closed.
At least no travelers can come here and give us all the swine flu !
I think this is rougher on my wife than it is on me, she is doing ALL the shoveling and she is missing a vertebrae and has a titanium plate holding her spine together. She just came in from her third round of shoveling us out and it's still coming down. We'll try to get a few pictures of our drifts.
