None of you has been crossing the state line, right? (check in with us.....don't make Rez and me worry)....
It was a hunter from PA. In all fairness, the grizz spit him out once he figured out he didn't taste good.

That's a really good point. Take too long to prepare it, and I have time to start rethinking whether it was worth $4. This ain't a sit-down restaurant where I expect the food to be a while in coming.

Coming as he did from so close to Washington D.C., he'd probably picked up a nasty aftertaste!

Good points... and yeah, it's been ages since I've seen hand-dipped ice cream on a truck. Softserve used to be DQ-only, thus attractive for being different. No longer!

Frozen yoghurt is weird stuff. If you let it melt, then refreeze it, you wind up with something much more like a fudgecicle (now there's an oldie I've not seen anywhere in a while, come to mention it). I take this to mean that frozen yoghurt has a very high water content compared to whatever else is in it.

In other parts of the country, especially on the East Coast, Carvel is the soft-serve ice cream leader.

Walmart now carries Carvel soft-serve ice cream cakes. They really freeze very hard and you need to take them out of the freezer for about 15 to 20 minutes before trying to cut slices.

Went out Saturday to get some more firewood, going to need a lot of it I think. Got 3 cords so far but would like at least 5 before winter sets in.

Rained most of the day, the temps hung up around 40 degrees. Saw a couple whitetail, couple mule deer, about 20 elk and 3 black bear in my area near our cabin outside Livingston, then there were about 50 whitetail in a field near my father's house in Big Timber, and 18 Mule Deer with a couple of nice bucks in the herd within 200 yards of his porch.

Snow on the Absorkees and Crazy Mountains Sunday morning.......

General season opens Saturday, and that is 5 days too long!!!

Well, glad to hear that the guy was not one of 'my guys' on here! (But I feel sorry for the PA guy anyway)

I like frozen yogurt, but I don't have it often. There are a few places here that are a lot of fun, (Ft. Collins has one, too). They have about 8+ choices, you fill your own cup and then you put all kinds of goodies on it and they weigh it and then you sit down to eat it.... They give you little 'taster cups' (picture that paper cup that the nurse gives a pill in), and you 'taste'. By the time I taste them all, I'm full and can barely hold the one that I buy.

Okay, Montana dudes....

What does 'shoot, shovel and shut up' pertain to? (And Rez, I know you read the L.A. Times, so you keep quiet! )
