I saw a guy on TV once who could squirt milk out of his eyelid !
We, (when I really was a kid and not just acting like one !) had an aluminum tree for a while, it was so ugly and just plain wrong. I think it was our cats that finally did it in.

Holy shmoly I went into my settings to make a few changes to my profile, (I also just changed my profile picture) anyway I took a look at my stats and almost fell out of my chair. Something spooky must be going on because on Halloween the chart says my posts were read 9255 times that day ! Why would my posts get that much readership ? All I do is spout a bunch of silliness and post a few pics. Must be a lot of bored folks out there.

Back when I had long hair (and mine grows like switchblades, if I don't whack it off it's down to my butt in just a year) ... one morning I got up, looked in the mirror, and saw a hair sticking out of my eye -- in fact it was in the tear duct (next to the nose). Just a little hair, or so it appeared. So I pulled it out... and it was TWO FEET LONG!! How the heck it got from my scalp to inside my face, I'm not sure I want to know!!

Here's something interesting:
http://www.nytimes.com/2009/11/10/bu...ukes.html?_r=1
"Salvaged bomb material now generates about 10 percent of electricity in the United States — by comparison, hydropower generates about 6 percent and solar, biomass, wind and geothermal together account for 3 percent."

Who knew having a cold war could be so useful?

I hope the guy playing "toilet seat horseshoes" washes his hands before the burgers are done !

I finally got our new bathtub installed and am really sorry I bought one with the non skid bottom. I need to get a rubber mat or something quick. That non skid surface really chowed my buns, ouch !

Hmmmm, I just re-read my post here and I seemed to use the words buns, skid, toilet, rubber, chowed, ouch, quick, bottom and ouch all in the same post. (I wrote ouch twice because I really did say ouch twice !)
I must have a bit of a dirty mind cuz I know I'm not that good at being a cunning linguist !

Speakin' of "The Porch"................ Hey "7 0f 9", I was out in your country recently, pay'n a visit to a 3rd generation rancher friend of mine. We did a little 'bird huntin' and a little 'elbow bendin' afterwords. His place is in Prairie County, 'bout 14 miles south of Fallon on O'Fallon Creek. The Huns cooperated, but the Sharpies were a little more of a challenge. My Brittany sure had a full day...........he didn't lose a cripple. Any way, my friend had just sold off 160 acres (leaves him with about 2400)----he needed the "$" to help pay his R.E. Taxes...........first time ever he had to do this. He was born on "this place" back in the 1930's. If you ever heard of the "town" of Mildred, (ghost town now), his wife taught school there (all eight grades in the 'ole one room school house), back in the 1950's. Quite the area........
I told him to keep his eyes open for a sign on a place that reads: THE PORCH." He said he would and promised to stop by "and sit-a-spell".
