We've had incredibly heavy rain, high winds here in south Florida and the Keys. I was supposed to go on a Christmas Bird Count in the Keys today. We got down there at 6:45 am, pow - woo'd and decided to postpone the count until Wednesday. We all went for breakfast at the Made 2 Order Cafe near the Tavernier bridge. Great food and great company! Too dangerous for people going out in boats and birds would not be around anyway. Stay safe everyone!

DAMN, rickers.. between your cousins and their pets, there's just GOTTA be a reality show in there somewhere.. you could be rich!

Wurzig, good catch.. The bunny on the horse is "Crusader Rabbit"..

And the star of "Highway Patrol".....who also won a best actor oscar for "All the King's Men",
is the intense, and gruff voiced Broderick Crawford.. "Punks like you are a dime a dozen!"

Yes I see that you got the rain and the upper east coast is getting the snow, sort of how it goes here coming from the west to east.
Come back and tell us about your birding when you can

Interesting how the DC is under a blanket of snow.
Maybe the fellow upstairs has a sense of humor?

Wink Me and my YouTubes

Hi all. A good sense of humor is a valuable thing to have. We get a lot of telemarketer calls even though we're on the "Do not call list" Here are a couple of YouTubes for those of you who don't like scammers and who also are not fond of being bothered by telemarketers. (I kind of feel sorry for the poor guy just trying to make a living as a telemarketer but have no empathy for the scammers)
I've been doing a bit of scambaiting lately and they are getting a bit harder to hook lately, (They may share a list of known scambaiters)

Playing with them seems a bit more fun than just cussing them out and telling them not to call back !
