I'm with you Pashta, broc soup is excellent. Now I'm kind of wondering about cream of brussel sprout?

How disgusting! I guess some people make cream of cauliflower instead, which sounds somewhat better. Considering some of the oddness that goes on in my kitchen, I think you misspelled "unnatural cook"
OMG ! I am a bit grossed out, I think I tried to try instant mashed potatoes once. Yuk.
I tried to try powdered milk once also. Yuk.
They both went straight into the crapper because I am one very picky eater and I will seldom even eat leftovers.

I'm glad you're still talking food. MSN had some great stew recipes. Eight beef stews on one page and 31 other stews, including beef, on another page.

Stew Recipes - Easy Homemade Stews for a Month - Delish.com

Beef Stew Recipes - How to Make Beef Stews from Scratch - Delish.com

Bring on the cold weather!!!

ps.... for 7/9 .. Worf sent along a Klingon joke. He seemed to think it was hilarious.

'arloqh Qoylu ' pu '' nuqneh gaStaH nug lojmIt yIpoSmoH tihInqan maH

nugjatlh jIyaj hIjatLh ' e ' yImev qoSlIj DatIvjaj nuqDaq ' oH pvehpa ' ' e '

I've noticed that even in Klingon jokes, someone always seems to die. I'm glad they're on our side.

You are right Seven, we all kinds of weather alerts this morning. It is 32 with a wind chill of 21. Bozeman is 24 with a wind chill of 20. There were actually snow flurries in Boynton Beach - 20 miles south of me, ice pellets on Palm Beach (snowed in Palm Beach once - in 1977) Found a new warning light on the car "ICE POSSIBLE"

Yes I am a weather wimp, which is why I moved from MI to FL - 30 years ago.

There will be Chili cooking in my crock pot today. Enjoy your day everyone.

Farmer's have had a tough week, they have been fighting all week to save their crops. They do all sorts of things; flood the fields with water from deep water wells, (it raises the temp. a couple of degrees), spraying crops with water the ice protects the crops somewhat and than there are helicopters, they hire helicopters to fly over the fields, it forces air which is just a couple degrees warmer downward onto the fields.

They know they have already lost corn and lettuce crops; that was a couple days ago. The oranges they will juice. But it will inpact everyone's fresh vegtable prices. Just in time for all those after holiday dieters

It is around 34 in Homestead, FL. My house is 64! Heat is not working very well, though I have plenty of clothes and my dogs are buried in their blankets. I am cooking picadillo right now....serve it over basmati rice. Yum! I feel bad for the farmers and the nurserymen!

Well stay warm Plantlover, it will warm up a little later today but not having the heat working right is a real problem.

It is going to be awful for the farmers and nurseymen! All they can do is do as much as they can and hope for the best.
