Man, thats crazy!! Can't imagine being in that casino when that happened.
I am with 7 not a big gambler. Little bills. More of the just go and see type of
person.
Ya know if things would have not fell through with hubbys job we would be in MONTANA
now.
When they were desiding a date for him to start he was supposed to start Feb. 1st.
Oh well their is still hope, he is supposed to call back and this still could happen maybe spring or summer.

We had a weird one yesterday, across the river in Laughlin some old codger ran his car FULL speed into the front and well into the Edgewater casino. Plowed through many gamblers inside and looks like he took out at least two and injured 12. From what I heard while talking to people who saw the whole thing it seems he did it on purpose.
Maybe he wanted change???
They interviewed some ignatz on TV and he was actually shocked that people ran over and started grabbing money, chips and anything else that wasn't nailed down (anymore)...
Kind of like OMG, people were loooting a casino... Hmmm, bad economy, people out of work or under severe pay cuts and money/chips flying all over and they had the NERVE to bend over and pick it up in all the chaos... Imagine that!
I wonder if they realize they were on at least one camera if not many camera's from the "eyes in the sky"?
On the other side I'm sure the casino is well insured for loss and will claim many $$$$$$$ lost no matter what the true figure is.
I've been to Oatman. And yes, they kinda roam around. I think they caught some idiots killing them a few years ago..... There are some cute shops there with nice turquoise......and there is a small hotel where Clark Gable and Carole Lombard spent their honeymoon if I remember correctly.

I think 2-3 people died in that accident.......they think the man driving had a heart attack or something....sad for all involved....

Have a great time......and go check out the original London Bridge while you are in the area.......

There is a reason it did not work out at this time, Amy. It might not be easy to figure out, and even when you figure it out you might not understand or agree, but there is a reason.

You have little kids, right? Maybe higher powers want them to finish out their school year in the place where you are currently living.

Maybe your pet is going to become ill and the only vet that will have the correct medicine is in your curent town.

Maybe a tornado is going to take the roof off of the house that you would have moved into in Montana...or a cold-freeze is going to damage the plumbing......(I"m just using these as examples).....

Keep your chin up!

Life is good for us really..

Note to the neighbors...
The Mods have allowed me to change my username.
A little more reflective of my station in life.
Anyway, I need to decide who to pull for in the game on Sunday, will miss my vikings.

Ha, now you have to try changing your username in all our brains -- good luck managing that

I don't get any TV here and don't know what either team is like nowadays... tho it's probably been a longer and harder road over the years for the Ain'ts, er, Saints. But they're not the 49ers, so I don't really care one way or the other.

Now if it were the Hated Raiders, at least I'd know who to boo!!
