Wurzig..I don't really have an answer for you.. It probably depends how large the event is. Or, more importantly, how aggressive the stock is.. You probably won't find especially rank bulls in a small rodeo.. but any bull can be dangerous.. They're all big, so they can handle the poking, but the, how did reziac put it ... ANNOYING of their more sensitive area DOES tend to put them in a mood .. ( and I can't say that I blame them one bit ) ... However, even if there's no actual clown, if a rider goes down, and is about to be .. squashed .. there are plenty cowboys right there who will come to his aid. And there's often some cowboy in the area who's a wanna be rodeo clown who'll be in there, if just for the experience. Bull riders are a crazy bunch ... but those rodeo clowns ... THEY'RE in a class ALL BY THEMSELVES.. But they're worth their weight in gold when you need them.

That's like ropeing a bear. The easy part is ropeing the bear. The hard part is turning loose of him.

Good morning neighbors, well I didn't get to that rodeo. Good for hubs as I might have had a bit of a temptation there. Good thing I am not a young single woman, I would need to go to confession several times a day.
We are having quiet a spring here on the prairie. Green grass everywhere and all the farmers are onto the seeding and other field work. Birds everywhere and many calves in the fields. I am sure we will be paying for this early snow melt with dryness but it sure has been a blessing not to be slipping and sliding.
I need to get out with the camera, I will do that tomorrow.
Happy Sunday, I am thinking Rubens for lunch.

Good Morning all! We're surviving Stagecoach so far but it ain't easy! TONS of people, most drinking/drunk and quite a few rude ones. I did see something I've not seen my whole time in MT... A group of neo nazis.. HUGE nazi swastikas on their arms and white power tats all over. Hmmmm, will this golf cart speed up enough so I can plow through a get a strike like bowling pins?

It snowed several times last week in the mountains I can see from my front door -- all the way down to 2600 feet. If it had rained two nights ago we would have had snow down here too!! I took a strange picture -- poppies blooming to one side, mountain with snow to the other. (Well, I hope I took a picture, ain't got it off the camera yet.)

Neo-Nazis in Montana? They must have come from Idaho. Hope they don't keep coming as far as North Dakota. I hate people like that.

jimj was talking about neo-nazis down south of here where he is currently traveling, not about any that may or may not be here in Montana. Those types don't seem to be in any areas that I've been in Montana or at least if there are any here you sure as heck don't notice them. I have been seeing Hispanic gang members grow in numbers each year steadily though.
Most of the nazis in the west are in Washington and California
