Default A "toddlin' town" ...

Its funny about me and Chicago teams.. I've never even lived in Chicago.. And I've been a life long Bronco's fan.. ( the only Rocky Mountain team ).. But there's always been something about the city of Chicago.. And something about the Bears.. Can't put my finger on it.. Love the Blackhawks, too.

A motorcycle "club" used to come to a bar in Bozeman, sometimes.. I forget their name.. But in the winter, they'd show up in cars.. Always struck me as kinda funny.

Sounds like a form of heresy

Default A Montana Maverick ......

Every once in a while I seem to get the need to say something about one of our regular posters.. And its usually something many of us have been thinking all along.. A post I made earlier has got me thinking again.. I hope he forgives me for saying it...

Whatever life might decide to throw at Rickers .. he always finds a way to make the best of the situation.. An amazing ability.. And I admire him for it.. As long as Rickers is out there beating the odds .. living by his own rules .. making his own luck .. and managing to find some humor in almost anything ... it keeps me believing there's hope for ALL us guys..

Default Definition clarification ......

In reference to my previous post about Rickers being a maverick.. In case anyone happened to look up the definition of maverick .. I was using the definition concerning an independent, or a non conformist.. NOT the following definition ......

"an electro-optically guided U.S. air-to-ground tactical missile for destroying tanks and other hardened targets at ranges up to 15 mi. (24 km)."

Not the way to spend the evening....

The Associated Press: Tornado kills 2, injures 1 in northeast Montana

I canceled work and stayed home to tie everything down. It passed over us but even 200 miles before it came down the swirling clouds over us looked dangerous.

Thank you Tiberius.
An old girlfriend of mine from the Isle of Jersey but who grew up in Australia used to call me a larrican. I wonder if Bill O'Really has heard of that word !

Here are some pictures I took yesterday.

Peekaboo enjoys being outside.

I think I just created my first future postcard.

I took this from my kayak on Bull lake of the water weeds. I played with the image a bit. It looks as though it was taken from under water to me.
I'm having fun.

I was surprised how well this one turned out. I was kayaking in three feet deep water. The light colored specks is stuff floating on the surface.

Default 49er Team signed ball

The ball is from last years team. According to my team contact, one of ten that year. It was given to me at an easter dinner. Total surprise.

That's Dr. York in the earlier picture.

Rickers,

You are making me jealous with those pictures. I'll be up in the Swan in about three weeks working on my place. If you have that get together maybe I can break free.

That's assuming I get an invite of course.
