Heck I'm trying to figure out how I figured out how to even work the camera and post the video on YouTube !

Learning is so much fun, too bad I didn't realize that when I was a teenager.

My wife had a saying that I never heard anywhere else. She said she could of been really smart if she had only put her mind to it.
I answered "Ya know, half of being smart is knowing what your dumb at" !

That little conure hams it up at times but when strangers are present she clams up. She is one of the best talking conures I've ever seen. She knows a whole bunch of words and comes out with 4 to 6 syllable phrases now. Mostly she just says "Peekaboo Baby", Ricky I Love You" and "Hey Peekers" and she says "Ricky" real loud repeatedly.

When I leave the room and if I'm gone for too long and she knows I'm near she'll fly down the best she can with one wing clipped and go off walking about looking for me. I had to tell the crew to "Stop the mowers" when she wandered into tall grass we were mowing when switching out one bad tenant for another bad tenant.

I heard her say "yea Right" the other day and she hasn't said it since.
She is a weird bird, but she is somewhat potty trained and takes a bath every day so I expect her to not get booted off the porch unless she bites someone and she can get a bit nippy when she doesn't get her way. So ya all have to kiss Peekers butt big time cuz she's used to it. I should have named her Paris Hilton.

Oh by the way my movie recommendation for the day is called "The Wind That Shakes The Barley". Anyone with any Irish in them that they care to admit, (I know I've got a wee bit in me.) may enjoy this movie. It does have a bunch of stuff like cussing and folks being shot and beat and all, as well as a lovely scene where the British soldiers pulled the fingernails off a suspected IRA member with pliers. Might not want the wee ones to be seeing that film about the Irish Republican Army's struggle against the British as well as themselves. It starts off slow but give it a chance, it is an Indie after all.

All of you porch doggies start honing up your lying skills ~~ oops I meant acting skills cuz we got a "shoot" coming up. Maybe we'll title it "Good Porch, Bad Porch" or "Are We Having Fun Yet ?"

WWII in HD — History.com TV Episodes, Schedule, & Video
Lots and lots of actual color films with interviews with the veterans and actors reading their experiences. Shows so much about the war in the pacific.

Yea, we've been watching some sketchy stuff lately like Gang Tapes and Neo Ned, that was cute by the way. A lot of the Indies we've been watching lately start off a bit slow and seem to build in depth and complexity as the films progress. Right now we're watching "And Justice for All" with Al Pacino and John Forsythe. That Indie was released in 1979. Now back to my movie !
