My dh family raised Labs, lots of duck hunters there in western Oregon.

Me thinks dh = dear husband.
But not sure. I'd have to call my son to find out .... he's my interpreter.
(I do honestly call him every now and then and say, "For crying out loud, just what the heck does "...." mean?!" He laughs and thinks it's really funny someone doesn't know what it is.  )

I'm inviting this guy when we visit on the porch to make sure folks don't use improper language such as, lol, prolly, Cali etc. He's vowed to "nip it -- nip it in the bud" !
