Not for the Cousins -- they may have only one brain between 'em, but they can be in two places at once!

Is the Parlour gonna serve scones with Devonshire cream, and watercress sandwiches?? You can't have high tea without 'em!

Scones yes, I LOVE scones, Devonshire Cream, maybe I have to find where I can order online, watercress sandwiches, I don't know I have never made them. I thought the cucumber finger sandwich was the preference.

Here is a recipe for Devonshire Cream from Joy of Cooking: Devonshire Cream Recipe With Picture - Joyofbaking.com *Tested Recipe* Please let me know when the scones are ready and I will be first in line to try them. Cucumber sandwiches are wonderful, especially on thinly sliced homemade bread!

But what about the polka!!
I had a neighbor once who showed me the finer points of the cream and scones, also with that thing called clotted cream?
I actually had a chance to work with some oil fellows in Minot, ND. Took a tour of this.
Not on yet but there is stuff to see anyway.

Oooh, now that sounds right easy...

<puts prairierose to work in the kitchen of CSD610's Parlour>

...someone here must have a cow that needs milkin'... Tiberius, why are you making that funny mooing noise??

I'm thinking that the scalded skimmed milk could spend a few more hours becoming cottage cheese, too -- basic recipe amounts to "add lemon juice and let it congeal over low heat for a few hours". And you can make a different kind of cheese from the whey left behind by that. Which I keep meaning to try doing but ain't got around to yet...
