Its been so long since I posted a picture, I've forgotten - do you have to use a photo hosting site like Flickr??

Any of them will do. I have been using Picasa. (note that Photo-bucket will delete your posted photos if you leave your Photo-bucket account dormant for more than 90 days.)

Keep in mind that if you have "money" photos don't even post them on the web or you may see them being sold by some entity to Hallmark or somebody (unless you actually file a copyright with the U.S.government). Also these free photo storage/sharing/picture-fixing sites will sell your "money" photos as you have to agree to share the copyrights to them that you automatically acquire when you take a picture according to the Berne Convention Treaty the second that you take a picture.
If you let the CD system pluck a pic from your pic files (using the "manage attachments" button) it will show as a thumb and can be clicked on to enlarge. I like to have the pics I post appear full screen or down to about 450x600 pixels.
The Berne Treaty has "socialized" imagery a bit and U.S. copyright laws had to be amended as a result because we are one of the many nations who signed it.

When we first moved to Hot Springs Mt my wife heard some scratching noises on our living room window right behind her. She parted the venetian blinds a bit to peek through and there was a black bear looking her in the face !
Good thing nothing happened, I would have had to go and beat him up !

Welcome to Montana

Tough women here, that bear got off lucky

Everybody who lives here long enough will get a good bear story. I was bird hunting one time in a CJ7 Jeep with the top off We were stopped on the road looking for a new spot to look for grouse, and a bear came busting out of the undergrowth on the side of the road and nearly climbed in the rig with me He stopped just a foot or so from my seat, sat down on the road, looked at me with surprise all over his face, then whirled and ran back into the brush.

(I got a lot of bear storys )
