Homestake Pass appears to have undergone a major upheaval overnight:

SCAN Web 5.6 - Camera

(if they've already fixed it, try this picture (http://rwis.mdt.mt.gov/ScanWeb/Wx/images/Vid-000267008-00-00-2010-09-30-16-17.jpg - broken link) instead.)

Haha, yeah, kitty, I wouldn't go near that mule if I were you

(BTW if you look up the case, you'll find that the mule didn't actually kill the cat; it was already dead when the mule took a notion to trash it.)

Happy Simchat Torah

The one-day rabbinic celebration of Simchat Torah (SIM-khat TOH-ruh) occurs on the 23rd day of the month of Tishrei, which this year began at sundown on Thursday, September 30 on the civil calendar, and commemorates the completion and the immediate renewal of the annual cycle of thrice weekly readings from the Torah (the Five Books of Moses).

It is a time of great joy and celebration, including, for adults, the consumption of large quantities of alcoholic beverages.

Amazing how so many celebrations (no matter what civilization or religion), involve large quantities of alcohol

I am a fan of the Eating holidays myself

Happy Simchat Torah to you too Walter.
