Jimj could take one of Walter's graph sheets and wrap it around the top of the cone---make it into a conical shape....and sprinkle away.....thus catching all the extras, saving them for the next cone.....

It's at this point I say "I'm sorry, we're out of sprinkles!"

Screw it. Get a soft ice cream machine. Sprinkles stick better. No scoops to clean up at the end of the day. No buckets taking up space in a big freezer. No confusion. Easy applicator. Have cones and cups. Cups get sprinkles, fudge, chocolate, butterscotch. Cones get ice cream and a napkin.

$2 for a cone. $2 for a cup. $3 if'n ya want something besides vanilla in the cup (i.e. sprinkles, chocolate, etc...)

I'd happily grab a cone for $2 while walking around a swap meet, fair, carnival, etc... I would not spring for sprinkles because $3 is too much.

This has some merit and begins to look like a real winner. Earlier on in the discussion Ice Cream was starting to lose its main attraction: Instant Gratification!

Frozen yogurt! Or is that 'Too California'? That comes in those soft-serve machines!

Unfortunately yogurt is a bit too fu-fu california for me. As for the soft serve thing, everybody does soft serve, we've not seen dipped ice cream ever. Also the soft serve makers cost around $9 grand and are serious power hogs so it's harder to be mobile and do other things.
