Thanks Seven of nine, We made it through this round. We live right in Osage Beach and had one sighted right over town. Last I heard there was one in Jefferson City don't know of damage yet hope everyone made it ok. I would not wish the storms on anyone but wish I could send some of this surplus rain to MT. I think we have gotten at least 4 or 5 inches in the last day and a half.

We are pretty moisture rich around here, no complaints, good for the farmers.
I grew up in the southeast so I know when to head for the basement. The ones at night are the most terrifying! Lucky they are rare around here. Now the lighting is another story. Stay safe. Good to hear from you.

Hey, now that's the best idea I've heard all day!!

My well guy was supposed to be back with parts to fix my leaking pump... he caught some hoppers and mumbled something about fish, and I ain't seen him since.

Bullmoose will become famous soon enoughBullmoose will become famous soon enough
I have a friend that wants to move back to Montana. She loves it there. She lived in or near Missoula a couple of times. I haven't lived anywhere cold for a really long time. I'm not high maintenance, but I do like a lot of the creature comforts. Would Montana be a real culture shock for someone coming from the sunbelt?

Not trying to start anything. That's why I posted in the "let's visit" thread, and not the I love/hate Montana thread I figured people here might be friendly, not full of trickery.

Hello, you are welcome to visit on the porch anytime
We are few and far between posters here on the Montana forum. Someone will pick up your question, just might be a little bit...
We serve refreshments, current offer is good sun tea of which I am sure you are familiar with. Montana is a huge state with many climates and landscapes. We are prairie on my side. Take a look at my album in my profile for a look around at the eastern side.

Wow! That's a little stark. Love Tom Petty. He is great Live. Saw Full Moon Fever in Austin. Wildflowers at Desert Sky Pavilion. I think I saw him one other time. Can't recall where, or when! I'll be back to visit.
