When I was a kid I would go out in the big windstorms and try to fly. Of course it never worked but it was fun anyway

<thinking>

I know what I did wrong. You have to take three leaping steps to get off the ground, as everyone should have learned from watching The Greatest American Hero! Too bad that came along after I was a grow'd-up and stopped trying to fly.

Maybe I should try it again. I've been wanting to have a second childhood...

Sounds like you pulled off a "Brewster McCloud" ! My Gout isn't the only thing that has put the kibosh on my usual activities. I have serious complications from a surgery done over two years ago. I am hobbling about on crutches now, that's a good sign !
I've been watching a lot of movies lately. I just watched "The Kingdom", wow I can see why Arabs didn't like it much but I thought it was great. By the way we're still not imbibing any alcohol at all. I'm still waiting for the "jonesing" to begin ??? I'm not seeing pink elephants either !

More like a Ralph Hinckley

Where I lived in Santa Clarita, I planted a couple rows of trash bamboo for privacy ... it grew into this huge thick mass that totally covered the trailer and made a sort of gazebo where I parked. Visitors would stop and stare and not know what to think of my little jungle... So I'd tell them, "It's to keep the elephants away. You don't see any elephants, do you??"

One fella replied, "Only the pink ones!"

You mean William Katt? I have no idea...

I loved the GAH theme. "Believe it or not, I'm walking on air..."
