Katt auditioned for the part of Luke Skywalker in 1977's Star Wars, and footage of his audition has been featured in many Star Wars documentaries (from Wiki)
I knew he had something to do with one or the other!

I'd totally forgotten about that, but ... yeah, I think he could have pulled it off well enough. I haven't seen his audition footage, I'll have to keep an eye out for that!
Quite a gorgeous day on the prairie!
Sunscreen needed, a little rain if you please but you could see for miles!
Hope is all is well your way, what a shame about Billy Mays, never used Oxiclean but may have to in memory
Dang, we're losing 'em right and left this week
Reminded me of the various other pitchmen... I have a Popiel Pocket Fisherman (great for fishing along brushy banks) and a DAK breadmaker (works a treat) ... but I never tried OxyClean either. Might have to just on G.P.

Who's next? The shamwow guy? It's been just wonderful here the last few days! High 70's to mid 80's! The only down side is the tourists are thicker than grasshoppers everywhere as it seems so are the highway patrol. They started doing "document checks" on the way to Hungry Horse (right by house of mistery, pulling over every 6th car and asking for license, insurance and if you'd been drinking. I think they're looking for the car that caused the highway patrolmans death and left the scene last year. I have to say I was suprised there were protesters holding signs just before the checkpoint saying "nazi check ahead" and such...

Komrade! Your papers please!!
You really don't see anything wrong with that??
My college roommates' family had escaped from the Ukraine during the Soviet era. Maybe that gave me a different perspective...

I DO see a problem with what they're doing and don't like it at all. Just another way to gain revenue $$$.
Again what surprised me is that there were people out there with signs at all, not what they said.

Ah, okay. For a moment I thought you'd gotten into some bad drugs or something I agree, the goal is no longer public safety, but rather the revenue that can be extracted from any passing subject, er, I mean citizen. In fact, some officials have admitted as much in discussions of camera-based ticketing.
It's important that REGULAR PEOPLE be seen protesting these Stalinist policies -- not just the nuts who need their tinfoil hats refitted (and can be safely ignored). Show the elected politicians that they're on shaky ground with the mass of voters -- cuz nothing else truly matters to most of 'em.
And now I'm gonna have me some nice cold mayonnaise-jar tea, a'fore I have to rush off to town.
