It was yummy corn
July 4th... dog show, so I am working (showing 4 dogs, and being a slave for the nice folks putting on the show) ... then if I can find out where the Tea Party is at that's supposed to be in the same neighbourhood, and am not yet in a state of total collapse from 12 hours working in the heat, gonna go be part of that.
We're having our local Tea Party the week after, tho in the park isn't near as visible as was the downtown event a couple months back... unless someone thinks to set banners up on the freeway side!!

You will have to give that keyboard a talking to! I find it interesting how you show the dogs. I enjoyed the photos of the other show. Maybe after a glass of tea you might share more?
Do you have a site for the tea party? I know alot of folks here that are so wound up. We are far out but who knows, get enough interested maybe one here?
Coversation here on the porch is friendly so that is all the politics I will converse on.
Now what to grill, chicken or pork.

Our town just had our little rodeo during "Whoop Up Trail Days" You should see how tiny and old our rodeo grounds are ! I'll try to get a photo of it.
We did manage to make it to Rock city for a few pics. I'm still getting used to my new Canon PowerShot SX10 IS. What is it that folks say ? Oh yea, "When all else fails try reading the directions" !
Hoodoos at Rock city.
More hoodoos.
The Marias River from the rim at Rock city.
The spillway for the Diversion Lake on the Sun River
The picture below is the Diversion Lake where I will try to catch some rainbow trout in a couple of weeks. We will have our kayaks with us and we'll be staying at the Sun Canyon Lodge on the 13Th and 14Th of July. We will have a campfire next to the little cabin we are renting. Peekaboo and our dog Benny will be with us. Anyone in the area stop by for some Mexican Jewish hot dogs, (a grilled kosher dog wrapped in a tortilla) or some grilled trout if I get lucky.
Benny.
Peekaboo.
