They say the peas are nearly ready, I here the wheat is stunted, hope the extra rain helps it catch up.

That seems easy enough ... and adaptable to make ... oh, something like an openface grilled cheese sandwich might be good!

Easy pizza dough: Use your breadmaker to mix a batch but don't let it rise. Smash and roll it out and cook it immediately.

Srue hope the wheat does catch up, wheat and corn are the two we can't take a big hit on!

Now I hear that the wheat is catching up but is still really green.
Thanks to our leader for the weather thread, understand it might be wild today on my side, everything is in the barn that should be.
Me? Gotta go to work
Regards to anyone going to see the POTUS today. Flim/flam at it's best

Hey y'all, we're back from TN... Well we couldn't find a place that we truely liked/loved so we're going to plan "B". Plan "B" is to put everything in storage and buy an RV. We've decided on a 5th wheel and I've already bought a truck to pull it with (got a SCREAMING deal in TN before we left) and will just be vagabonds for a bit until we can figure where we want to be. We're leaning towards Jonesboro TN but there's a whole lot of country out there...
The Stevensville Creamery Picnic starts today, I'm one of the judges for the Montana State bbq competition that they hold there and I hope to see some of y'all there!

Bring 'em, I think I saw your cousins hangin' around as well last night! We judged a catagory called "anything but" which is anything but the typical bbq stuff. We had shrimp and mango salsa tacos, a "new" form of chili releno which was bacon rapped and done on a smoker, and a desert that was really good.
Today is the comp, plenty of good bbq to be had and a lady is selling apple dumplings w/ice cream that are really good as well.
The hutterites are here and they are handing out free bbq pork and an ice cream vendor will be here giving freebies as well. Rickers, tell your "guests" not to make pigs of themselves and to quit going back for fifths! Yep I saw 'em eyeballing the stand last night. It was kind of obvious when they layed out their blankets right next to the table where the pork was.

So that's where they went off to. I noticed that my wallet went missing about the same time they disappeared. Maybe you could adopt them, they aren't real happy with us since our house is dry now ! (we're not missing the beer at all).
You're driving me nutzo talking about BBQ and chili rellenos in the same post. Since my cousins disappeared I've started hanging around donkeys, they are smarter than the cousins and they smell better, plus hay is cheaper than BBQ.

Ok, I have been over to that smiley thread again, I think I am addicted.
Hope everyone is fine, we are getting back to more normal temps in the 90's today. Sure glad we missed the hail.

Hey all, back to MO for another load. We think we will make it all in one more trip the end of Aug. We just missed the hail on the way home. It was right behind us. I feel sorry for all the bikers in Sturgis that was bad news.

Our trip was great and we got a lot accomplished. Even had time for a bit of a break in the mountains.
