Rickers, great shots! That spillway is something else. How are you getting along? Mexican hotdogs LOL Nice to see your pup and peek
I just recently read why those formations are smaller on the bottom than the top. Just gotta love Montana for the rock and geo hounds. I missed my rodeo, that is how short is was! Thinking about going to the wild horse stamped in WP Hear it can get a little rough
Have a good one, hope the weather is good for you and your wife.

Why no one eats at my house: Meatloaf for breakfast.

In its defense, it was delicious meatloaf

A pound or so of very lean hamburger
1 can of mushrooms, with juice
half of a sweet onion, chopped
1 envelope Lipton onion soup mix (about 1/3 cup of Knorr -- same formula in a can)
Splash of garlic seasoning
Good dollop of Italian seasoning (thank goodness for Costco-priced containers!)
2 eggs
3 handfuls of regular oatmeal

Mix well, pack into cooking dish (grease with bacon grease or mayo), slather the top with enough mayonnaise to seal it. Cook until done in oven or microwave (about 30 minutes in my little m/w). Came out juicy and yummy, for reasons that escape me since it was flung together from whatever was handy.

Yes the onion
I did a little happy dance when I found some Walla Wallas here last year.
Meatloaf the second day is always the best IMO.

This was such a good onion, that yesterday I had an onion sandwich. Just onion on it, nothing else!! I have one more from this batch... might core it and plant the core, and see if it'll bloom and seed out. (They also kept well, which is unusual.. veggies don't keep here, they mold VERY fast.)

[inspecting bag] Product of Chile ??! Dang... I dunno what variety it is, looks somewhere between brown and white. Whatever it is, it's worth growing more of!

Many a summer day of my youth consisted of siting in the hay truck with an onion, tomato, sandwich. You never needed pepper, just open the sandwich and apply gnats as needed.
Vidalia's are great also. Yes a good onion is a beautiful. My hubs is a fan of the bland side of Norwegian food. No disrespect but he is often horrified by my jalapenos, chilies and all matter of onions.
Think I will grill some chilies on the grill this weekend.
