Maybe they moved or it blew down... wondered how the heck it stayed up (evey with guy wires) in the wind, it was about 20 barrels tall!

Maybe 6 or 8 miles east of Helena along the highway from Townsend, on the north side of the road, maybe half a block from the highway. Numerous times I tried counting barrels as I went by and as I recall the count got to 20 or 21 by the time I'd gone by it.

Don't know if you got your cable yet or not.
Look into Wild Blue; friend has it and loves it.
Lives in a rural area and says it's good enough for him to work from home.
He's a finance guy so he's always sending/receiving Excel files, etc.
Good luck.

Thanks! We just returned from Montana for another load with our move. While we were there my wife accessed her work via MT internet company. It worked very well. Then we contacted them and they said they could hook us up with a 2 mb system. We located their towers in our area and now we are going to talk with Wild Blue and see where their towers are and what they have to offer.

Thanks so much for your reply and I will post the results when we are done so others can decide what will work for them.

Thanks!

Wildblue doesnt have towers, it works off the satelitte and if it's your only option, go for it.. but anything else (besides dialup) is better then satelitte... it's somewhat expensivem, they slow you down fi you download alot, there's fairly high latency and etc.

if you can get wireless, go for it.

I know a guy who just got a gadget that's the whole computer in the phone -- it's a 500MHz thing with embedded Windows and it does just about everything a desktop or point-and-shoot camera does, including wireless internet -- oh, and it can make phone calls too!
