Cable internet in the Helena / Townsend area ??
Anyone know how far out of town you can get Cable internet service around Townsed or Helena? My wife might be working on line from home and would need hi-speed.
Thanks!
Jeff

My place is about half way between the two, I don't have the net there but my neighbors do and it seems fast enough. I'm not much help on this one I guess.

AQHA, are you right on hwy 12?
We are not sure DSL will be fast enough?? Do you know if they have cable?
Or maybe someone knows more about DSL and can tell us if a data analyst job could be performed on it??
Thanks!!

I am hearing some buzz about Hughes net? This is from people who travel around the state to work, good luck.
Here is the local for us but we are a long way from you, maybe they can direct you.

Didn't we just leave these questions?
DSL is slower than cable, but in general more reliable, mainly because cable services change their policies and parent companies like underwear.

I started the other thread after this one with a better worded title to get the Q's answered.
Sorry for the double post.
