Call the Lewis and Clark National Forest headquarters, phone number is on their website. Various districts have different rules. There are several campgrounds and I know they don't allow camping at the trail-heads but I believe they do allow camping outside of the designated campgrounds. Better call and get the info from the "horses mouth" !

You're very welcome and have a happy camping trip.
Now is the time to start thinking up a few scary stories to tell around the campfire or plan a prank that includes a Sasquatch costume !
