Someone on the yahoo Montana-info list asked that I post this reply for her, as she is not a member here:
My recommendation (I live in Missoula, and have Rottweilers) is Ancare, specifically Sandy Moore (though I don't think she's taking new patients, her partner is). Sandy has been my vet for 10 years. [Disclaimer: I myself could recommend vets around Bozeman, but I know nothing about those in Missoula!]

To IShowandBreedDogsAndIVote: I salute your handle, as I also show and breed dogs, and every one of my dogs watches over my shoulder every time I vote. Our rights to own and breed dogs are identical to and contiguous with our other Constitutional rights!

Do any of you know of anyone in Montana who is still doing ear cropping? I know some dont agree with ears being done but I have young dog that I would like to have cropped... I just need to find a qualified vet.

Ear cropping is an art. If you were in SoCal I could direct you but dunno who's good in MT. However... ask the Doberman and Pitbull folks, and take notice of which dogs have nice smooth edges on their ears, a pleasing symmetry, and NO unusual sensitivity along the edge.
The real trick is to never stitch through the cartilage -- always suture skin to skin and with sufficient tension to keep it taut, but not so much as to pull the stitches loose. And getting that shape and symmetry -- well, you've only got ONE chance, so it better be right the first time.
I learned from watching our local good ear guy, who is now older than dirt. I don't have a cropped breed but dogs do fight and shred ears sometimes, and I can repair 'em better than any vet I've seen -- having learned to do it RIGHT from our ear-guy -- and I defy anyone to tell which ears I've repaired. Most vets stitch THROUGH the cartilage, which invariably leaves a crinkled mess, or notched edges on crops. Nope, you've got to repair the skin individually on both sides, and never stitch THROUGH the ear, if you want it to heal clean and look like new.
What breed is it, anyway?? I can ask on the MT-dog-info list, someone there should know, but this can be a VERY breed-specific question.
(Goin' off to a dog show this weekend. Back Monday!)

Boston Terrier. I hesitated to even ask on a public forum as some folks get very upset with those of us who still like the cropped look. I grew up with dobermans as a kid and I love the look of a well cropped ear. Boston are not always cropped but our older dog was cropped so I'll get the younger one done this spring as well. Yes, any help you could give in helping me find someone to do it would be very much appreciated.
