Quesions on Browning
Can anyone tell me what the climate and geography is like in Browning and north of Browning? Like near the border of Alberta, Canada. Is it cold and rainy a lot? Does the sun make an appearance often, or is Browning relatively sunless? How is the summer in Browning? Warm or cool? Is Browning located close to the mountains? Is a lot of it forests and rivers, or farmland? Are there any little places, like diners and small books stores, in Browning itself? What are the outskirts of Browning like? Is there nothing for miles on end, or is it slightly urbanized? Mostly farming land? Is there a point where, once you exit the town, there is nothing but flat land (and mountains in the distance, obviously) for miles? Approximately how far is Browning from Helena, and how long is the drive? Also, can anyone tell me about the Blackfeet tribal stories and heritage? Such as how they believe that they came to be/ what they believe they are descended from? Or any interesting tribal stories about their heritage?
Thank you!

That is the front range of the Rockies. Cold, windy and snowy in the winter. Grasslands until you hit the mountains, then trees.
Browning is the tribal seat for the Blackfeet reservation.

Thank you, T-310, you cannot even begin to know how helpful that information is. I've been going crazy trying to get some information at least, and I keep turning up with nothing, though. It's completely unnerving not being able to get anywhere.
I've heard that Browning is not exactly the ideal— and I'm using that terms loosly— place to live, or be in for that matter. I keep hearing that Browning is pretty rough, the natives aren't so nice, and the police force is corrupt. I don't know what to believe, though. I'm not so sure that I want to be believe any of that nonsense. It sounds really harsh. On the other hand, it may be true. Who knows?

The stories you've heard about Browning may be a bit exaggerated... but not much.
You have to visit to get the real lay of the land. If you like the complete pastel color chart then you will love it there. There is not much that is painted a "normal" color.
Interesting place to say the least... And windy as hell !
