Default Lewistown... what has changed during this decade?

I haven't revisited Lewistown for a good six/seven years. I have property there outside of town, and was wondering if anything has changed as of late. We'll be eventually building a getaway home there as a satisfying contrast from city living until one day we retire.

Last I heard, Wal-Mart and Costco were interested in moving to the area. I'm guessing with the economy, that idea may have changed. However, Lewistown hasn't seen an increase in housing development either, has it?

Just curious, really. Pics and current plans are welcome. And if anyone can clue me in on the restaurant just a block north of town that served a great prime rib for a real good price, please let me know. I guess my brain cells are failing in my aging brain, and I just can't remember the name. But they served a great dinner.

Thx all.

Don't really know, but I envy you for having land over there. I would buy some myself but I'm currently up to my elbows with other land payments. When I get some of these paid off I hope to pick up some over there myself.

If you ever do make it out there, and we have our place built... you're invited to a barbecue!

It is a beautiful place, the Lewistown area. Our property is about fifteen minutes from town... far enough away to just get away from it all, but close enough to meet future friends and neighbors for dinner and activities (and only about an hour or so from Billings, I think). Can't wait to revisit.

I spent about a week at the Yogo Inn last year and yes things seem pretty much as they have been for years.
A section of town across the street has some amazing low income housing.
We spent some time north of town up by near the old military installation and thought that was the place to be.
