Default Sad day for Rodeo fans. Buzz Seeley is gone.

Anyone who is a fan of rodeo may know of Buzz Seeley. He passed away at his ranch and hot spring resort (Wild Horse Hot Springs) near Hot Springs Montana Saturday night or Sunday morning, in his recliner with the TV on, the remote in his hand and a smile on his face. Goodbye to a rodeo legend.

Spring Fling is on a distinguished road
Rickers,

Do you have an obit, or a link to one? Buzz was a family friend and fellow rodeo cowboy back in the day...

Thanks,
SF

We have close ties with folks in Hot Springs and we have a rental there. My wife's best friend called us with the news the day he was found and we know his daughter well. The Little Baldy Press (The small newspaper of Hot Springs) had this on the front page of the June 1 2009 issue.

"Buzz Seeley Passed Away."
"Wilbur Cole (Buzz) Seeley Jr. was born in Grandview, Wa. June 8 1938 and passed away at Wild Horse Hot Springs on May 30 2009. Buzz was a member of the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association and won the Saddle Bronc Championship at the National Rodeo Finals held in Oklahoma City Ok. in 1969".

The article goes on naming relatives and other historical facts concerning the family and all.
