Default Brush up on your Canadian, the C$ is now over 92¢ US

You can keep track of the daily doings in the Canadian-$ (C$) by checking Canadian-$ futures.

Since May 1, the C$ has increased 7.72¢ from 84.51¢ to a current quote (as of mid-morning) of 92.23¢.

Since April 1, the C$ has increased 12.75¢ from 79.48¢ to a current quote (as of mid-morning) of 92.23¢

A stronger Canadian-$ translates into an increase in southbound traffic from Alberta into Montana, certain to bring a smile to the face of many a Montana merchant, especially in the City of Great Falls.

We don't need those speeding canucks here blowing past law-full Montana drivers and we certainly don't need their dollars. Let them stay in their own screwed up socialist country

It's not a stronger Canadian dollar, it's a weaker American dollar. Quantitative easing is beginning to spook the world's currency traders. When you make money from nothing your money will be worth nothing.
