Default Land in Sheridan, Mt.

I drove over to Sheridan last week to meet with a realtor and check out a few recreational properties. I also looked at two subdivision properties that I considered for investment. I hate to report, but land in Sheridan has gotten expensive too.

The two lots I looked at were 1.3 acres and they were $48k each. This part of Montana was selling lots like this for about $6k not but a few years ago.

Amazing.

That's kind of surprising. My parents are from that valley and I've spent alot of time there. It really doesn't seem all that different than it was a few years ago so I wouldn't have expected that much of an increase. I guess it's happening all over western Montana. Too bad.

I asked the lady who was showing me the properties when things started picking up in Sheridan, she said it was about two years ago. Driving through there it all seems about the same as it did years back but there are things popping up here and there. I was VERY surprised by the 1.3 acre lots going for $48k, thats close to Missoula prices there.
