I did a quick web search for "Billings Montana Economy" Do that and look at the USA Today site. It doesn't paint a very pretty picture. The article only about a month old said that housing sales are down over 30% from last year.
There are lots of older sites saying glowing things about Billings, just weed through the old B.S. and you may find that even the big city is feeling the recession finally.
